Overview
The Office Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the office. This role requires strong organizational skills, general office knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general office duties, including filing, data entry, and maintaining records.
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) tasks accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) to create reports, documents, and spreadsheets.
- Support office staff and management with administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensure office operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Skills and Experience
- General knowledge of office procedures and administrative tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with AP/AR processes.
- Strong customer service skills and professional communication.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in a lumber, construction, or similar industry.
- Familiarity with office management software or ERP systems.
