Stick Welder

Perform stick welding (SMAW) on various metal components, machinery, and structures. Inspect, prepare, and clean metal surfaces prior to welding to ensure proper weld quality. Repair or fabricate equipment, racks, carts, or other warehouse structures as needed. Read and interpret blueprints, welding diagrams, and work orders. Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards, performing touch-ups as needed. Operate welding equipment safely and maintain tools and machines in good working order. Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all OSHA and company safety guidelines. Collaborate with maintenance and warehouse teams to prioritize and complete projects efficiently. Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or material issues to the supervisor. Qualifications: Proven experience in stick welding (SMAW) techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding diagrams. Knowledge of welding safety standards and proper PPE usage. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds. Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions (standing, bending, crouching). Previous experience in a warehouse or industrial environment is a plus.
