Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming
- Mix and match paint to achieve accurate color specifications
- Apply paint, clear coats, and finishes using spray guns and other equipment
- Inspect completed work to ensure smooth, even coverage and quality standards
- Repair minor surface imperfections before painting
- Maintain painting equipment and ensure a clean, organized workspace
- Follow all safety procedures and proper handling of chemicals and materials
Requirements:
- Previous automotive painting experience preferred
- Knowledge of paint mixing, blending, and finishing techniques
- Ability to operate spray equipment and related tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs as needed
- Ability to bend, stoop, and work in tight spaces
