What You’ll Do as a Forklift Operator:
- You will play a critical role in our production cycle by safely transporting raw materials and finished wooden goods—such as fence posts and mailboxes—throughout our fast-paced manufacturing facility.
- Operate a sit-down forklift to move long, heavy, and "awkward" lumber products.
- Supply production lines with raw materials to maintain a steady workflow.
- Stage finished wood products for storage or outbound shipping.
- Conduct daily equipment safety inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized yard and warehouse environment.
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Experience: 5+ years of verified sit-down forklift experience (Preferred).
- Industrial Background: Proven success working in a heavy manufacturing or plant environment.
- Specialized Handling: Proficiency in maneuvering oversized or unstable loads (fence posts/lumber).
- Stamina: Ability to maintain high levels of focus and safety during 12-hour shifts.
- Reliability: A professional track record of excellent attendance and safety compliance.
