Onin Staffing is now hiring a Quality Technician for a leading manufacturer of foam and rubber products in Louisburg. If you are detail-oriented, computer savvy, and thrive in a fast-paced production environment, this is a great opportunity to build a long-term career with a growing company.
- Monday-Thursday
- 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM
- $16.50 + 10% shift differential
The Quality Technician works closely with production and quality teams to ensure products meet strict customer and company standards. This role involves inspecting materials, auditing processes, collecting data, and maintaining accurate quality records. You will play a key role in ensuring products are inspected, approved, and ready for shipment.
- Perform product and process audits
- Conduct visual inspections of materials and finished goods
- Inspect incoming and outgoing products for quality compliance
- Document audit findings and inspection results
- Enter quality data into spreadsheets and ERP systems
- Prepare Quality Control samples
- Quarantine non-conforming materials
- Assist with gauge control procedures
- Support production teams with quality standards and tolerances
- Help train team members on quality procedures
- Respond quickly to quality concerns on the production floor
Skills and Experience
Qualifications
- Strong computer skills REQUIRED
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Data entry and reporting experience
- Previous quality department experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED REQUIRED
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent time management and reliability
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
- Must have 20/20 vision (corrected acceptable)
- No color blindness or difficulty distinguishing color hues
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in high heat and humidity
