What You’ll Do as a Material Handler
- Handle, store, and move materials to support production and warehouse operations
- Pick and stage materials for assembly and production teams
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Use a computer or laptop to complete SAP transactions and respond to requests
- Maintain accurate records of inventory counts and material locations
- Keep warehouse areas organized, clean, and safe
- Inspect materials and verify accuracy before delivery to production
- Prepare jobs and materials in advance to keep assembly lines running efficiently
- Assist with removing trash, recycling, and corrugated materials
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Experience with SAP or warehouse computer systems
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and work instructions
- Familiarity with measuring tools, scales, and pallet jacks
- Forklift experience or willingness to obtain certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to sit, stand, and climb rolling ladders during the shift
