Maintenance Technician

1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with hands on training in mechanical, pneumatic and/or hydraulic education with at least 10 years of demonstrated experience in supporting and maintaining manufacturing and facility equipment. 
 2. Certified Mechatronic training from an accredited institution with at least 3 years of demonstrated experience is preferred. 
 3. PLC understanding and utilization is desirable. 
 4. Able to obtain license to operate powered industrial trucks. 
 5. Must have Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedural knowledge. 
 6. Successful candidates must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and in a timely manner.
 7. Ability to read, write and understand English language instructions and communicate in English on technical situations. Must be able to communicate with all levels within the organization. Spanish language is a plus, but not required. 
 8. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate*** ratio, and percents, as well as develop and interpret bar graphs. 
 9. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. 
 10. Must be able to work independently with limited supervision, to coordinate with supervision on all shifts to assure proper communications. 
 11. Computer knowledge is required. 
 12. Experience with SAP, PM and TPM is desirable.
