What You’ll Do as a Forklift Operator:
- Safely operate forklifts to move materials throughout the facility
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns
- Load and unload trucks while ensuring products are handled carefully
- Transport raw materials and finished goods to designated production or storage areas
- Maintain organized and secure stacks of materials in warehouse or storage zones
- Track materials moving in and out of the building using company procedures
- Follow daily production schedules and assist with keeping operations running smoothly
- Complete required paperwork accurately and on time
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Support team operations with additional tasks as needed
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Ability to safely handle materials and maintain awareness of surroundings
- Experience loading and unloading shipments from trucks
- Basic math and measurement skills for counting and tracking materials
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail to prevent product damage or safety issues
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks during a shift
