Production Assembler

Overview

• Perform repetitive assembly tasks in a production setting
  
  
• Assemble parts using bolts, clips, screws, adhesives, and other fastening methods
  
  
• Cut materials to specific measurements as needed
  
  
• Inspect products and remove defective items when necessary
  
  
• Operate or tend machinery used in assembly and fastening processes
  
  
• Move between workstations based on production needs
  
  
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
  
  
• Follow all safety procedures and use required protective equipment
  
  

• Entry-level, no prior experience required
  
  
• Carpentry or construction-related experience is helpful
  
  
• Ability to read simple instructions and communicate effectively
  
  
• Basic math skills required
  
  
• Ability to read a tape measure
  
  
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions
  
  
• Overtime may be required
  
  

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  
  
• Frequent use of hands and arms for handling materials and tools
  
  
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds continuously, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 100 pounds occasionally
  
  
• Must be comfortable working in a loud industrial environment
  
  
• Exposure to moving machinery, weather conditions, dust, and vibration may occur
  
  
• Must be able to wear required PPE including hearing and eye protection
