Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Precision Measurement Technician to support our fabrication team in an industrial piping environment. This role is responsible for taking accurate measurements and creating block templates used in the insulation and fabrication process. Precision and consistency are critical to success in this position.

Key Responsibilities
- Take precise measurements of piping and components using tape measures and other measuring tools
- Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Create and mark block templates according to specifications
- Verify dimensions to ensure proper fit and alignment
- Work closely with the fabrication and insulation teams
- Maintain quality and accuracy throughout the production process
- Follow safety procedures in a manufacturing environment
Skills and Experience
Strong measuring skills with the ability to read a tape measure accurately
Basic math skills, including fractions and conversions
Experience reading blueprints or technical drawings preferred
Background in fabrication, mechanical work, carpentry, machining, or similar hands on trades is a plus
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work in a shop or industrial environment
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
