Maintenance Assistant

Overview

• Assist with general maintenance and repair tasks (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.)
• Perform routine inspections of housing units and common areas
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Prepare vacant units for new occupants (cleaning, painting, minor repairs)
• Replace fixtures, light bulbs, filters, and damaged components as needed
• Maintain grounds and exterior areas (trash removal, basic landscaping support)
• Help troubleshoot maintenance issues under supervision
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and housing regulations
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Keep accurate records of work orders and completed tasks
