Overview
The Office Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support daily office operations. This role ensures smooth workflow by maintaining records, handling correspondence, and assisting staff with routine office duties.
Skills and Experience
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner
- Greet and assist visitors
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail
- Maintain filing systems (both electronic and physical)
- Enter and update data in databases and spreadsheets
- Schedule appointments and meetings
- Prepare and edit documents, reports, and correspondence
- Order and maintain office supplies inventory
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks (invoices, expense tracking, etc.)
- Perform general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing
