What You’ll Do as a Saw Operator
You’ll operate saw equipment and production machinery to cut metal materials accurately and efficiently according to specifications and production schedules.
- Set up and operate saw and related production equipment
- Use computerized or semi-automatic saw machinery to cut materials to specification
- Read tape measures and cut sheets to ensure accurate dimensions
- Follow safety procedures and quality standards
- Assist with staging and moving materials as needed
- Train on and operate forklifts to support workflow (as needed)
- Support team members and complete additional duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Team-oriented mindset and strong work ethic
