Overview
The Systems Administrator will sustain a variety of administrative and technical duties including workstation set up, and troubleshooting, email security, network security, user account administration, and support for a variety of software packages.
General Duties
• Maintain and monitor current network infrastructure and performance
• Administer network devices, including network firewalls and wireless access points
• Monitor and maintain all servers, workstations, phone systems, and other technologies like tablets in trucks, warehouse scanning equipment, etc.
• Work with vendors including but not limited to ERP software, email, internet, hosting, phone service, printers
• Serves as technical support to employees to resolve software issues and assist them in using software and;
• Troubleshoot hardware problems on multiple makes and models of desktop computers, printers and servers.
• Apply security patches, software updates, and keep service contracts up to date
• New hardware upgrades; installs, moves, adds, changes in a server, laptop or desktop environment.
• Maintain and develop Microsoft Access Database to produce daily, weekly and monthly reports

• Pepper – salesperson remote order entry system/customer app
• Roadnet – truck routing software
• Omnitracs – truck GPS and Hours of Service software
• Target – ERP system
• Target Warehouse – Scanning software
Skills and Experience
• High school diploma (Bachelors degree preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in IT related position
• Strong oral and written communication
• The ability and ambition to quickly learn new software products and or new technologies
• Organizational, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• The ability to work successfully with limited supervision
• Basic knowledge of server backups/restores
• A strong desire to be a significant contributor to a growing organization
• Effective communicator with strong organizational and prioritization skills
• A strategic thinker with strong problem solving and analytical skills
