Overview
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Branch Manager to lead daily operations at a stone distribution branch. This is a Direct Hire opportunity offering long-term stability and growth potential. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who is comfortable managing staff, overseeing warehouse operations, and operating equipment as needed.
The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day branch operations, supervising staff, ensuring efficient product flow, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This role requires flexibility, as the schedule may adjust based on truck arrivals and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead warehouse and branch staff.
- Oversee receiving, shipping, and inventory control processes.
- Operate a forklift as needed to support operations.
- Coordinate truck arrivals and ensure timely loading/unloading.
- Maintain safety standards and compliance.
- Monitor productivity and address operational issues.
- Provide excellent customer service and support.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role within a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
- Forklift operation experience required.
- Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory processes.
- Ability to lead a team and work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Warehouse environment.
- Must be able to operate a forklift.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexible schedule required due to truck arrivals.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday: Start time between 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM | End time between 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
- Schedule flexibility required based on operational needs.
Pay Rate: $75k/yr.
