Material Handler with Forklift
We’re hiring a reliable and detail‑oriented Material Handler to support our Raw Materials Department. This role is essential to maintaining accurate inventory flow and ensuring smooth warehouse operations.
Work Schedule
9am to 5:30pm
Pay Rates
$14.50/hr.
Job Responsibilities
- Receiving & Stocking: Accurately receive finished goods and stock them in designated locations. Ensure all items are properly logged into the inventory system.
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload freight from trailers using equipment such as stand‑up forklifts, swing‑reach trucks, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers.
- Shipment Processing: Scan box labels, verify product quality and condition, and report any discrepancies promptly.
- Shipping Audits: Perform accurate counts and weights for outgoing shipments and document all data in audit reports.
- Inventory Management: Assist with cycle counts, replenishment, and maintaining proper stock rotation.
- General Warehouse Support: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company policies and safety procedures.
Skills and Experience
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or GED REQUIRED
- Valid driver’s license REQUIRED
- Clean background
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Qualifications
- Prior warehouse or material‑handling experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record‑keeping
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as stand‑up forklifts and pallet jacks
- Ability to work at heights and follow all safety protocols
