What You’ll Do as a Forklift Operator:
You’ll be responsible for safely operating forklifts and order pickers to move, load, and organize materials while maintaining accurate inventory and a safe warehouse environment.
- Perform daily safety inspections on forklifts and powered lifting equipment
- Safely operate forklifts and electric order pickers
- Load and unload trucks and pallets
- Transport materials to designated storage or picking areas
- Use RF scanners to complete warehouse system transactions
- Verify incoming shipments against packing slips and bills of lading
- Conduct audits and quality checks on materials
- Assemble and verify customer orders for accuracy
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
- Respond to urgent needs and assist with special projects
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Previous experience operating Stand-up High-Lift Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, or Order Pickers
- Ability to successfully obtain and maintain forklift certification
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Not afraid of Heights
- Experience using RF scanners
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse
- Reliable attendance and team-oriented mindset
