We are seeking an experienced and safety-driven Forklift Operator to support warehouse and distribution operations in Sandston, Virginia. Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts in warehouse and loading dock areas
- Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments accurately and efficiently
- Transport raw materials and finished goods throughout storage and staging areas
- Accurately stage, scan, and organize inventory using warehouse procedures
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and promptly report maintenance issues
- Support order fulfillment and shipping timelines
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
- Assist with general warehouse and distribution duties as required
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 year of recent forklift operating experience required
- Experience in distribution, logistics, or industrial warehouse environments preferred
- Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment safely in a fast-paced setting
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and inventory handling
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
