What You’ll Do as a Cost Accountant
You’ll support costing, inventory, and reporting functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Assist with monthly closing and financial reporting using SAP
- Classify and analyze production costs (material, labor, overhead)
- Perform variance analysis related to production and department expenses
- Support physical inventory processes and cycle count reconciliation
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and reporting
- Collaborate across departments to support accounting processes
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Manufacturing or cost accounting experience preferred
- SAP experience
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and organizational ability
