Overview
Lead Operator to run aluminum processing equipment on 12‑hour night shifts and keep production running safely and smoothly.
What you do
- Run and watch the machines that separate and move metal, making adjustments to keep material flowing and quality on target.
- Walk the plant, check equipment, spot problems early, and handle basic fixes or call maintenance when needed.
- Help guide and support a small crew on your shift, cover breaks, and make sure everyone follows safety rules.
- Use forklifts or loaders to move material, and help with basic cleanup like sweeping, shoveling, and keeping the work area organized.
Skills and Experience
- 2+ years working in a plant, warehouse, or industrial setting around machines or processing equipment.
- Someone who takes safety seriously, wears PPE, and follows procedures.
- Comfortable doing physical work (climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, standing and walking most of the shift).
- Some experience helping train coworkers or being the “go‑to” person on a line or area is a big plus.
