Overview
We're seeking a reliable Warehouse Attendant to join a small team! This contract-to-hire position plays a vital role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations, with core responsibilities in shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment. You'll work closely with your Supervisor and one other warehouse attendant in a supportive environment where your contributions directly impact our success.
Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against packing slips and invoices
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer and production orders for shipment or delivery
- Communicate via email and phone with customer service and sales
- Process receipts and inventory transactions using our ERP system
- Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
- Label and organize items in designated storage locations
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely
- Support loading and unloading of trucks and containers
- Report inventory discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to your Supervisor
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Comply with all company safety guidelines, policies, and procedures
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Email Ettiquette
- 1–2 years of warehouse experience, including shipping and receiving
- Proficiency with computers and basic software applications
- Experience with ERP systems
- Excellent attendance record and dependability
- Ability to work effectively in a small team environment
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs
