Job Summary:
The Certified Welder is responsible for welding, fabricating, and repairing metal components using approved welding techniques. This role ensures all welds meet quality, safety, and certification standards while working efficiently in a production or field environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform welding using MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Core processes per certification requirements
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
  • Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal parts and structures
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and structural integrity
  • Operate welding and cutting equipment safely and properly
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and report issues
  • Meet production schedules and quality standards

Skills and Experience

Qualifications:

  • Valid welding certification (AWS or equivalent)
  • Experience with structural, pipe, or fabrication welding
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions
