What You’ll Do as a Delivery Helper:
- Assist the driver with loading and unloading materials at the warehouse and delivery sites
- Safely handle building materials such as drywall, lumber, insulation, and more
- Verify accuracy of materials before departure and during unloading
- Provide spotting and guidance to drivers at delivery locations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery truck and tools
- Deliver excellent on-site customer service
- Follow all safety rules, including proper lifting techniques and PPE requirements
- Assist with directions, paperwork, and delivery logistics as needed
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Previous delivery, warehouse, or logistics experience (a plus)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and heavier items with team assistance
- Comfort with physical labor (lifting, bending, twisting, standing)
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
