Pay: $21-$28 an hour
Schedule: Full-Time (hours may exceed 40/week)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Truck Driver & Warehouse Material Handler to support daily deliveries and warehouse operations. This role involves driving a company bobtail truck for local deliveries, loading and unloading materials, and maintaining an organized and safe warehouse and yard environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and deliver product daily to local customers in Lubbock, Wolfforth, and Abernathy
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely
- Load, unload, stage, and store materials according to company procedures
- Verify incoming materials against vendor packing lists and report discrepancies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and yard areas
- Complete and submit receiving paperwork accurately
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers and vendors
- Follow all safety, security, and Foreign Trade Zone procedures
Work Environment
This position operates in a warehouse and yard setting with moderate to high noise levels and exposure to outdoor elements.
Skills and Experience
Qualifications
- Class A Driver’s License required
- Minimum 1 year of forklift experience (sit-down preferred; Class I, IV, V, or VII)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately count materials
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Reliable, motivated team player with good time-management skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent getting on and off forklifts
- Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent experience)
