Onin Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative for a client in the Tuscaloosa area. This role reports to the Customer Service Manager and plays a key part in supporting customers, vendors, and internal teams.
What You’ll Do
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, vendors, and internal departments
- Answer questions, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Handle emails, phone calls, and written correspondence professionally and promptly
- Prepare customer reports, memos, and documentation
- Review and analyze documents for accuracy and follow-up needs
- Maintain customer records and databases
- Track customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions
- Use software such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and Cie-Trade
- Manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
- Work independently while contributing as a team player
Skills and Experience
Required Experience & Skills
- 3–5 years of office or customer service experience (logistics or service industry preferred)
- Proven experience handling customer inquiries and resolving issues professionally
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, friendly, and customer-focused attitude
- Reliable, dependable, and strong work ethic
