Overview

 Ōnin Staffing is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant for a temporary assignment in the Clayton, NC area. This role is ideal for an administrative professional with hands-on HR experience who can confidently support day-to-day office and human resources functions. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and comfortable handling confidential information in a fast-paced environment. 

Skills and Experience

  • Previous administrative experience required.
  • Prior exposure to HR functions such as onboarding, employee records, or compliance support strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in an office or corporate environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); HR systems experience is a plus.
Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Office-based environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
  • Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting of office materials.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
