Interim Warehouse Lead

 Communicate and work successfully with internal departments as well as customers and suppliers  Effectively lead safety meetings for the team with the highest regard for safety procedures and requirements  Responsible for cycle count process  Responsible for management of inventory  Works with quality and customer service of tracking and process freight claims, product returns, and other related inventory transactions  Functional and ready to support in all warehouse processes  Direct inbound and outbound logistics operations, including transportation, warehouse activities, safety performance, and logistics quality management  Lead to improve communication between the warehouse, procurement/purchasing and production Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse  Ensure all employees are working safely and efficiently, making sure product is handled appropriately  Responsible for training new or current staff on new equipment and procedures  Utilize knowledge of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing to achieve and improve warehouse metrics  Work in team environment  Perform other duties as assigned
