Overview
Communicate and work successfully with internal departments as well as customers and suppliers Effectively lead safety meetings for the team with the highest regard for safety procedures and requirements Responsible for cycle count process Responsible for management of inventory Works with quality and customer service of tracking and process freight claims, product returns, and other related inventory transactions Functional and ready to support in all warehouse processes Direct inbound and outbound logistics operations, including transportation, warehouse activities, safety performance, and logistics quality management Lead to improve communication between the warehouse, procurement/purchasing and production Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse Ensure all employees are working safely and efficiently, making sure product is handled appropriately Responsible for training new or current staff on new equipment and procedures Utilize knowledge of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing to achieve and improve warehouse metrics Work in team environment Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent 2+ years manufacturing or warehouse experience
