Overview
Onin Staffing is currently recruiting a General Cleaner/Housekeeper for a client facility in Mebane, NC. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness across a large facility that includes manufacturing, warehouse, and corporate office spaces.
- Monday–Friday: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Some Sundays as needed
- $13.00/hour
- Opportunity to work in a clean, organized, and well-lit facility
What You'll Do as a Houskeeper:
- Dusting and mopping bathrooms (16 total), breakrooms, offices, and common areas
- Cleaning throughout the manufacturing floor, warehouse, and corporate offices
- Walking the blue line on production/warehouse floors to:
- Sweep floors
- Clean yellow guardrails
- Emptying all trash throughout the facility
- Dumpsters are located just outside the building and accessed through the warehouse
- Picking up trash in the parking lot (well-lit during evening hours)
- Lifting up to 25 lbs (primarily boxes of product)
Skills and Experience
What We're Looking For:
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience
- Experience stripping, waxing, and buffing floors (highly preferred)
- Bilingual candidates preferred (team is primarily Spanish-speaking)
- Self-motivated, able to stay on task, and willing to work independently
- Ability to pass a background check (no issues within the last 7 years)
- Steel-toed boots required
- Ability to perform physical tasks and remain on feet for extended periods
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
