Overview
Onin Staffing is currently seeking a Parts Counter Sales Associate. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and comfortable assisting customers both in person and over the phone.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Assist customers with part selection, acquisition, and purchases both face-to-face and by telephone
- Maintain inventory levels, gross margins, and product knowledge on assigned items
- Organize and stock showroom shelves and display areas
- Maintain accurate computer entry and data management
- Assist with maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary work areas
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Store Manager
Skills and Experience
1–3 years of experience in parts sales, counter sales, HVAC supply, or related field preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills for assisting customers in person and by phone
Ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate parts or products
Basic computer and data entry skills with attention to accuracy
Ability to manage time, stay organized, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to build positive relationships with coworkers and customers
Willingness to learn product knowledge and attend training as needed
