ONIN Staffing is hiring a dependable and customer-focused Counter Sales Associate for a 1st shift position in downtown Birmingham. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys face-to-face customer interaction, has counter service experience, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional, friendly service to customers at the sales counter
- Assist customers with product selection, pricing, and availability
- Provide basic information on turfgrass maintenance, irrigation, and grounds equipment
- Accurately process sales transactions and handle payments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked counter area
- Work closely with team members to ensure excellent customer service
Skills and Experience
Previous counter service or counter sales experience required or strongly preferred
Experience in retail, customer service, or inside sales
Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems preferred
Background in turf, landscaping, irrigation, or grounds maintenance is a plus
