Overview
The Clamp Sit-Down Forklift Operator is responsible for operating powered material handling equipment to move, locate, stack, and transport products safely and accurately. This role ensures all inbound and outbound products meet quality, quantity, and customer requirements while maintaining compliance with safety standards
Skills and Experience
Experience
- Minimum 6 months of forklift or clamp sit-down forklift operating experience preferred
- Minimum 6 months of warehouse or distribution center experience preferred
- Ability to safely operate powered material handling equipment for up to 80% of the shift
- Forklift certification required or willingness to complete certification within the first 30 days
- Knowledge of basic warehouse operations and inventory procedures
- Ability to inspect products for damage, accuracy, and compliance with requirements
- Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions and safety rules
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work assigned shifts and comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
Schedule & Pay
- First Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | $20.25/hr
- Second Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM | $21.25/hr
