We are currently seeking candidates for the following position!
Position Summary:
Responsible for handling, organizing, and moving servers and racks in the testing area. This role performs check-in and check-out of servers in the testing process, maintains organization of cables and components, and supports general housekeeping and 5S initiatives in the testing and rack areas.
3rd Shift: 11:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.
Essential Functions:
- Safely move and position servers and racks in the testing area.
- Perform server check-in/check-out for testing.
- Maintain accurate records of server location and status.
- Assist with organizing and labeling cables (cable management).
- Clean and organize testing and rack areas (general cleaning/organization).
- Support and sustain 5S standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
- Accurately follow all written and verbal instructions.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for prolonged periods.
- Ability to move equipment and materials throughout production and warehouse areas.
- Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment occasionally.
Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in warehouse, production, or technical assembly preferred.
- Experience handling IT equipment (servers, racks, cables) is a plus.
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Ability to safely lift and move servers and components.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in logging and tracking equipment.
- Ability to read and follow instructions and work orders.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and tracking.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Flexibility to work different shifts or overtime as needed.
