Overview
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Customer Service Representative to support our home healthcare team. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and referral sources, assisting with patient intake, insurance verification, and coordination of medical equipment and respiratory services.
Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with patient intake and verify insurance coverage
- Coordinate documentation and service setup for medical equipment
- Communicate with patients, caregivers, referral sources, and internal teams
- Prepare and process basic paperwork and maintain accurate records
- Provide support for walk-in and phone inquiries
- Assist with general office operations as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in healthcare, medical billing, or patient intake preferred
- Knowledge of insurance verification and medical terminology is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen (if applicable)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record if driving is required

- Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Word/Outlook)
- Ability to handle confidential information
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs as needed
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and communicate throughout the workday
