Overview
As a Medical Assembler, you will:
- Assemble precision medical device components following blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions
- Package completed devices and print shipping labels
- Operate specialized equipment in a cleanroom or controlled environment
- Follow detailed work instructions while adhering to strict quality and safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
As a Medical Device Inspector, you will:
- Perform receiving, inspection, packaging, labeling, and quality testing
- Inspect manufactured tubes and supplied materials for compliance with standards and specifications
- Conduct visual and tactile inspections for flaws, defects, and gels
- Take precise measurements using inspection tools (ruler, micrometer, height gage, pin gauge, vision system)
- Verify calibration of inspection equipment and ensure tolerances are met
- Support extrusion technicians with on-line inspections during production
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in medical device assembly or inspection
- Knowledge of FDA regulations and compliance standards
- Familiarity with cleanroom procedures and protocols
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry
- Prior experience with inventory, shipping, and receiving
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
