QA Technician

Overview

• Perform inspections and sorting of Finished Goods (FG) materials to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Coordinate closely with external sorting companies to provide clear instructions and proper sorting methods.
• Observe and enforce safety rules among QA team members and sorting personnel.
• Develop and maintain standard procedures, visual aids, and reports to support sorting and inspection activities.
• Assist during ISO/TS internal and external audits.
• Propose improvements to processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain close communication with manufacturing plants in Mexico to provide feedback and address quality issues.
• Ensure FG material conditions are correctly identified and meet all customer specifications.
• Determine Good vs. No Good parts using measurement tools and perform defect repairs based on skill level and hierarchy.
• Support material handlers with moving materials using a forklift as needed.
• Perform Tear Down Inspections on wire harnesses.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.
