Overview
Onin Staffing is seeking a experienced Double Forklift Drivers to join our team in Richmond, VA. This role is responsible for safely operating a double forklift to move, load, and transport heavy materials—specifically concrete and masonry products—throughout the facility. The ideal candidate has strong attention to safety, previous experience with double forklifts, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a double forklift to move, stack, and transport heavy materials such as concrete blocks, pallets, and related products.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and storage areas accurately and safely.
- Inspect and maintain forklift equipment daily; report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Follow all facility safety procedures, including PPE requirements and equipment guidelines.
- Support production and warehouse teams with material staging and inventory movement.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Meet productivity goals while maintaining a high level of safety and accuracy.
Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1–2 years of verifiable forklift experience; double forklift experience required.
- Valid forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor/warehouse environments.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with team members.
- Reliable attendance and commitment to safety.
