About the Role Are you a detail-oriented pro with a knack for numbers and organization? Onin Staffing is currently hiring for a dynamic Invoicing & Purchasing Coordinator for our client in Carol Stream. This is a Temp-to-Perm position, meaning we are looking for someone who wants to find their long-term career home!
In this role, you will be the heartbeat of the operation, ensuring that inventory is accurate, parts are purchased on time, and billing flows smoothly. If you enjoy a mix of computer work and active inventory management, this is the job for you.
What You’ll Do You won't just be sitting at a desk all day. You will play a critical role in the supply chain process. Your daily duties will include:
- Financial Accuracy: Create and generate precise invoices using QuickBooks.
- Data Management: Enter and maintain invoice data within the proprietary FNS Tracker system.
- Portal Management: Upload and submit invoices directly into various customer supply chain software programs/portals.
- Procurement: Handle the purchasing of repair parts using online resources and by communicating with vendors via email.
- Inventory Control: Get up from the desk to perform physical inventory audits and update the FNS Tracker system to reflect real-time stock levels.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Previous experience with QuickBooks is highly preferred.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable learning new software (like FNS Tracker) and navigating online purchasing portals.
- Detail Oriented: You catch errors before they happen.
- Versatile: You are comfortable working on a computer but willing to head to the floor for inventory counts.
- Communication: Clear written communication skills for vendor emails.
Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you should be a detail-oriented professional with prior experience in QuickBooks and data entry. We are looking for someone comfortable navigating customer web portals for invoicing and purchasing. A background in inventory management or cycle counting is a huge plus!
