Overview
We are looking for an experienced Windshield Replacement Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for safely removing and installing windshields and other automotive glass while delivering professional, high-quality service to our customers. Previous experience in auto glass replacement is required for this position
Skills and Experience
- Remove and install windshields and other vehicle glass using proper tools and techniques.
- Inspect vehicles to determine the correct glass, moldings, and materials needed.
- Prepare vehicle surfaces (cleaning, priming, curing times) to ensure safe and proper installations.
- Use urethane and other adhesives according to manufacturer and safety specifications.
- Ensure all work meets safety standards, including proper drive-away time.
- Protect vehicle interiors and exteriors (using covers, tape, etc.) during work.
- Keep work area, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and in good condition.
- Provide clear, professional communication to customers about the work performed and care instructions.
- Complete all paperwork, work orders, and documentation accurately and on time.
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and industry best practices at all times
Experience
- Proven experience in windshield/auto glass replacement (minimum [1–2] years).
- Strong knowledge of tools, materials, and safety practices for auto glass replacement.
- Ability to safely remove and install windshields without causing damage to the vehicle.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (for mobile or shop roles that require driving).
- Ability to lift, carry, and handle glass and equipment as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Professional, customer-focused attitude and good communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
