Overview
Onin Staffing is seeking Manufacturing Associates for a wonderful opportunity to start the new year! We are looking for 1st 2nd and 3rd shift with experience in manufacturing.
As a Manufacturing Associate, you are responsible for meeting the daily order deadline by efficiently transferring and compiling parts according to a system-generated pick list. Ensure parts are kitted, labeled and packaged according to department specifications.
Essential:
- Read, understand and follow work instructions related to assigned tasks.
- Pick and prepare parts in an efficient manner, meeting internal, incremental deadlines. Accurately complete applicable paperwork or QMS updates. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environemnet.
- Comply with all safety standards and guidelines.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Skills and Experience
- High School Diploma required
- Previous experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
- Detail oriented with ability to follow directions precisely
- Computer literate in a Windows environment
- Written and spoken English skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- ability to distinguish between colors with good visual acuity
- Able to squat, stoop, twist, and bend
- Ability to walk and stand on cement floors for a long period.
- Ability to work overtime, including Saturdays
- Able to work in warehouse environment
- Able to handle routine assignments of a repetitive nature
- Able to perform repetitive motion with hands and arms
- Ability to wear PPE; hearing protection as required
- Able to wear ESD protection as required
- Able to operate a pallet jack
