Ōnin Staffing is currently recruiting for Paint Prep Technicians to support the paint team at a leading utility truck manufacturer in Creedmoor. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and teamwork are key.
- 1st shift Monday-Thursday 6am-4pm Friday 6:2:30pm
- Saturday's are voluntary or mandatory based on production needs
- $22.00/hour plus overtime
What You’ll Do:
- Assist painters with prep work and support duties
- Apply protective coverings (such as masking tape) to prevent overspray or damage
- Smooth surfaces using sanding and buffing tools before painting
- Clean work areas, tools, and equipment to maintain a safe and organized workspace
- Remove parts from trucks prior to painting
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, etc.)
Skills and Experience
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 1 year of mechanical experience
- Ability to use small hand tools, ladders, and scaffolding safely
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions
- Comfort working in hot or cold conditions and around hazardous equipment
- High School Diploma or GED is required and will be checked by a 3rd party company
