Location: Denver, CO
Shift: 1st Shift — Monday–Thursday, 5:30 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $22–$25/hr
Position Open: November 17 – December 6
Mountain Manufacturing is looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our production team. We specialize in manufacturing, packaging, and distributing high-quality grab-and-go food, snack, and beverage items. This facility handles peanuts and peanut-containing products.
🔧 Position Summary
The Machine Operator is responsible for running and maintaining production equipment to ensure products meet quality standards while keeping the production line clean, safe, and efficient.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain food production and packaging equipment
- Monitor equipment performance and complete required documentation
- Conduct and record quality checks
- Ensure product runs meet customer specifications
- Retain product samples according to company and regulatory standards
- Prepare samples for sales or quality review
- Perform basic preventive maintenance and complete related forms
- Report any food safety, quality, or safety concerns immediately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all GMP/SQF and company safety policies
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Skills and Experience
✅ Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Food production experience required
- Experience operating packaging or production machinery
- Ability to step into the role with minimal training
- Must be able to work safely around peanuts and peanut-based products
🌟 Preferred Qualifications
- 6 months–1 year of machine operator experience
- Training in quality control
- Grain processing or similar facility experience
