JOB OVERVIEW
We are hiring reliable and motivated warehouse professionals for a fast-paced distribution center in Aurora. This facility distributes essential products for the electrical, plumbing, waterworks, and HVAC industries, including pipes, appliances, components, and tools.
We currently have openings for a Clamp Truck Operator and a Package Handler. These are long-term opportunities for dependable team players who have strong attendance, a positive attitude, and an interest in permanent employment.
AVAILABLE POSITIONS
CLAMP TRUCK OPERATOR
Forklift experience is required for this position.
Responsibilities include:
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Safely operate clamp trucks to move, stage, and store products.
- Use reach trucks and cherry pickers as required.
- Load, unload, stage, and organize materials.
- Accurately select products according to customer orders.
- Use an RF scanner to track inventory and order activity.
- Follow all warehouse and equipment safety procedures.
- Lift and move products weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
PACKAGE HANDLER
Responsibilities include:
- Accurately pick, sort, and pack customer orders.
- Handle products such as pipes, HVAC components, appliances, and tools.
- Use an RF scanner for inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
- Complete quality-control checks on outgoing orders.
- Stage and prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain an organized and safe work area.
- Lift and move products weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed.
AVAILABLE SHIFTS
Candidates must be flexible and available to work one of the following shifts:
- 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
- 11:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
- 1:30 p.m.–10:00 p.m.
Some weekend availability may be required based on business needs.
Skills and Experience
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous warehouse experience
- Forklift experience required for the Clamp Truck Operator position
- Experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts preferred
- Clamp truck experience strongly preferred
- Reach truck and cherry picker experience is a plus
- Familiarity with RF scanners and basic quality-control procedures
- Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Interest in a long-term, permanent position
- Reliable transportation required—public transportation does not service this location
