Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Envelope Machine Adjuster to operate and maintain envelope folding machines. This person will ensure all envelopes meet company quality standards while keeping machines running at optimal speed with minimal downtime.
Skills and Experience
-Inspect previous shift’s work for accuracy and quality; report issues to supervisor.
-Monitor envelope quality throughout production and correct issues following company QC procedures.
-Change machine setups between different envelope sizes, styles, windows, gum, and printed jobs with minimal downtime.
-Operate machines at optimum speeds to meet or exceed production quotas while maintaining quality standards.
-Identify, troubleshoot, and correct machine malfunctions quickly and efficiently.
-Notify supervisor immediately when maintenance or repairs are needed beyond operator-level capability.
-Work collaboratively with other adjusters and operators to meet shift goals.
-Assist Envelope Machine Operators as needed to support productivity.
-Maintain a clean and organized machine area.
-Complete production paperwork accurately and pull required samples.
-Communicate equipment status, job progress, and other key information between shifts.
-Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on folding machines as directed.
-Safely perform physical duties including standing for long periods, repetitive motions, reaching, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
