Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all incoming materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring that all shipments are properly received and distributed to the appropriate departments. This position requires strong organizational skills, hands-on experience in warehouse operations, and the ability to work collaboratively with both drivers and warehouse staff.
Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments and materials.
- Record and maintain accurate inventory data using internal systems or worksheets.
- Label, store, and organize received materials in designated areas.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, supervisors, and coworkers to ensure smooth workflow.
- Assist with internal transfers of materials to other departments or warehouse sections.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the receiving area.
- Support warehouse leadership with documentation and quality checks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- 1–3 years of experience in receiving, shipping, or warehouse operations.
- Basic computer or inventory system knowledge.
- Ability to lift and move materials safely as needed.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
- Strong teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail.
