Overview
The Quality Assurance Inspector ensures conveyor parts and assembled systems meet company and customer standards. Duties include visual and dimensional checks, documenting results, and working with assembly teams to maintain quality and accuracy.
Skills and Experience
- Inspect parts, subassemblies, and finished conveyors using tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections.
- Identify and document defects or nonconforming materials.
- Work with leads and engineers to correct issues and improve quality.
- Maintain inspection reports and follow safety standards.
- 1+ year of manufacturing or QA experience preferred.
- Strong tape measure and blueprint reading skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet production deadlines.
- Basic computer and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with mechanical or electrical conveyor components.
- Familiarity with ISO or Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
