Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to support our production and warehouse teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment in a busy manufacturing environment.
Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
- Move raw materials, finished products, and pallets between workstations and storage areas.
- Assist with inventory control by scanning and labeling products as needed.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Support production lines with timely material delivery and removal of scrap or finished goods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift experience (sit-down or stand-up preferred).
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
