What You’ll Do as an Inventory Associate / Forklift Operator:
- Perform daily/physical inventory counts and maintain accuracy.
- Receive trucks and unload merchandise.
- Move product throughout the warehouse and production as directed by the management.
- Organize product on the warehouse floor.
- Put away all goods received; execute inventory transaction.
- Investigate and resolve transactional errors, ensuring data integrity.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment for material handling.
- Conduct audits and implement 5S initiatives for process improvement.
- Analyze BOMs and production data to generate inventory reports.
- Identify and manage inventory aging and obsolescence.
- Train and assist team members in inventory procedures.
- Communicate effectively across departments.
Skills and Experience
Work Experience
The Preferred Candidate Will Bring:
- Inventory and manufacturing experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts and/or forklift certification
- Strong analytical, math, and computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment and follow safety guidelines (PPE required)
- A proactive, detail-oriented team player ready to make an impact!
- High school diploma/equivalent (Associate's preferred)
