What You'll Do as a Custodian:
- Help keep campus facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors.
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting classrooms, hallways, and offices.
- Emptying trash and recycling containers.
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, sinks, and common areas.
- Restocking supplies and reporting any maintenance issues.
- Ensuring assigned areas meet cleanliness and safety standards.
- Supporting special events or seasonal clean-up projects as needed.
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Experience in custodial, janitorial, sanitation, or housekeeping work preferred
- Reliable and punctual with a great work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs. and be on your feet throughout the shift
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work with chemicals and basic math for mixing cleaning solutions
