Overview
• Loads and unloads material either manually or with equipment such as forklifts and/or
pallet jacks.
• Transfers all associated paperwork to the Warehouse Clerk.
• Mark all incoming product with identification labels; transfer the material to the
designated area.
• Verifies the quantity of items received and verifies that incoming and outgoing material
is free from damage.
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in the warehouse; store items in an
orderly and accessible manner.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions for work assignments.
• Verifies that job numbers written on product correspond with supplied paperwork and
ensures product gets loaded according to the delivery note provided by the shipping
department.
• Prepares product by identifying, pulling, packing, labeling, wrapping, crating, loading,
and securing product for shipment.
• Maintain inventory records by adding or deleting supplies as they are used in
production.
Skills and Experience
• High School diploma or GED is preferred
• Basic computer data entry skills
• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing)
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• Previous experience operating material handling equipment
