Overview
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Poultry Line Workers to join our team at our poultry processing warehouse. As a line worker, you will play a vital role in the production process, helping to prepare and package poultry products in a clean, safe, and fast-paced environment.
Skills and Experience
Required Experience:
- Prior experience working in a food processing or manufacturing environment (6 months preferred)
- Experience working on a fast-paced production or assembly line
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures (GMPs, HACCP)
- Ability to work in cold, wet, or warm environments for extended periods
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, meet production targets, and maintain quality standards
- Physically able to stand, bend, lift (up to 40 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks for long periods
Preferred Experience:
- Previous poultry processing or meat handling experience (cutting, deboning, trimming, etc.)
- Experience operating basic food processing equipment or machinery
- Familiarity with USDA inspection requirements or working in a USDA-regulated facility
- Experience working on multiple areas of the production line (e.g., evisceration, packaging, sanitation)
- Proven track record of reliability, good attendance, and teamwork in previous roles
