What You’ll Do as a Quality Inspector:
- Conduct thorough inspections and quality control tests at various production stages.
- Meticulously record and maintain inspection data.
- Identify, segregate, and document non-conforming products.
- Assist in problem investigations and root cause analysis.
- Contribute to productivity improvement and cost reduction plans.
- Train employees on quality principles and activities.
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Become proficient in the mixing, coating, and ink supply systems to troubleshoot process problems.
Skills and Experience
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma/equivalent (Associate's preferred)
- Quality Control experience in manufacturing
- Chemical mixing/blending experience a plus
- Strong math & analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask & prioritize
- Proficiency with test equipment (micrometers, microscope, etc.) & intermediate Excel skills
- Ability to work with solvents & wear respiratory PPE
- Good vision for defect inspection
